What you’ll do:
- Review and support the accuracy of all VAT compliance services
- Organise the handling of correspondence with VAT authorities and review VAT assessments
- Monitor deadlines and coordinate timely submissions
- Liaise with clients, external advisers, and the Luxembourg VAT authorities
- Advise clients on VAT matters in collaboration with the Head of VAT Services
- Organise team coaching, training, and process improvements
What we’re looking for:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Tax
- Min. 10 years of solid VAT compliance experience, ideally gained at a Luxembourg tax/accounting firm
- Knowledge of LuxGAAP accounting
- Fluency in English and either French or German (Luxembourgish/German is a strong asset)
- Proficiency in MS Office, with very good knowledge of Excel (e.g. formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis)
- Strong analytical skills, organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple files autonomously with a proactive, client-focused mindset

- Support the preparation of more complex VAT compliance tasks when needed
- Prepare and review VAT registrations/de-registrations, and coordinate the required information
- Handle correspondence with VAT authorities and review VAT assessments
- Liaise with clients, external advisers, and the Luxembourg VAT authorities
- Assist in the advice on VAT matters
- Contribute to team coaching, training, and process improvements

What you’ll do:
- Preparation/Review of corporate tax returns and withholding tax returns
- Dealing with correspondence received from the tax authorities
- Review and commenting of tax assessments
- Liaising with clients, their external advisers and the Luxembourg tax authorities
- Assistance in advising clients on direct tax matters
- You may also, from time to time, be involved in VAT compliance tasks.
What we’re looking for:
- You hold a degree in Accounting, Finance or Tax.
- You have maybe a first experience in Corporate Tax compliance (or a similar position) in a Luxembourg tax/accounting firm.
- You have a good knowledge of LuxGAAP accounting.
- You are fluent in English and French/German (Luxembourgish will be a major asset).
- You are proficient in MS Office.
- You are organized, rigorous and methodical in your approach to work, and are able to manage several files autonomously and proactively with a client-focused mindset.
